Thought Field Therapy® – aka TFT and sometimes called Psychological Acupressure or Energy Psychology or Tapping - is a self-administered treatment developed by Dr Roger Callahan PhD, a pioneer of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

How does it work?

When a person experiences limiting thoughts, fears, or negative or upsetting emotions, an individual “thought field” is created. The problems or symptoms that a person experiences are caused by disturbances in this thought field and these disturbances need to be corrected.

It is believed that TFT eliminates disturbances in our energy system created by negative emotions by using key meridian points in specific sequences. The sequences are specific to the thought-field, involving different tapping points in certain orders.

The prevailing premise of TFT is that the flow and balance of the body’s electromagnetic and subtle energies are important for physical, spiritual and emotional health and for fostering well-being.
